Apr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudes aux beaux arts de Cherbourg, elle s\u2019oriente vers la d\u00e9coration sur panneaux et la c\u00e9ramique. En 1950, elle expose une quarantaine de pi\u00e8ces c\u00e9ramiques dans une galerie parisienne. Jusqu\u2019en 1955 elle encha\u00eene les expositions sur Paris et la Manche et le Calvados, avec ses panneaux d\u00e9coratifs et ses c\u00e9ramiques. Elle est professeur de la section c\u00e9ramique au centre culturel des cheminots de Cherbourg d\u00e8s sa cr\u00e9ation d\u00e8s 1953. Elle deviendra professeur \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole des beaux arts de Cherbourg pour les ateliers de d\u00e9coration et de c\u00e9ramique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La monographie actuelle repose essentiellement sur des articles de Ouest France. Yvette Le Mieux aurait travaill\u00e9 au Tronquay chez Turgis.
